Spanish 1:  Students learn how to express who they are and where they are, share about themselves and learn about others, and explore various culture topics and what it means to learn another language.


Spanish 2:  Students learn how to describe and compare events and ideas, read short novels, express ideas and events that occurred in the past, share about impactful events and people in their lives, and learn about influential musicians, actors, politicians, and athletes from Spanish-speaking countries.


Spanish 3:  Students continue to work on describing ideas and events in the past, including writing personal stories; learn how to use the subjunctive and express ideas and hopes for the future; and continue exploring the culture through various readings.


Spanish 4:  Students review and expand on their knowledge of grammar, add to their vocabulary, develop fluency, and enrich their understanding of Spanish-speaking culture through reading short stories and novels and watching documentaries and movies.
