At Calvin Christian High School we seek to offer an excellent academic program that integrates a biblical worldview into all subject areas. We strive to prepare our students to insert themselves in God’s world and bring shalom as God intends it. Although lists of courses—both required and electives—say something about a high school’s academic program, it’s necessary to look deeper. At CCHS we work through course content, course structure, and the very culture of our school to develop graduates who are passionate, self-directed learners who are eager to live out God’s calling on their lives.

Spanish The study of a world language leads students to develop appreciation for the richness of other cultures, the intricacies of verbal and written communication, and, by contrast, the peculiarities of our own culture and language system. We offer four years of Spanish; study of other languages or more advanced Spanish development may be pursued by special arrangment. (more)
Physical Education Students at Calvin practice health-enhancing physical activity and develop patterns for a lifetime of healthy living in obedience to God and his Word. Calvin’s physical education curriculum uses a variety of athletic and recreational activities as the vehicle for highlighting and applying fitness components and principles. The physical education program is a mix of on-site activities, group visits to recreational fitness centers, and individual student projects or practices.
